Jason Schloesser - Visual Instructor

Jason is from Houston, Texas and recently graduated with a degree (BA) in Music Education from the University of North Texas at Denton. During his time at North Texas, he was involved with many different performing ensembles, including the University of North Texas Green Brigade Marching Band as well as the Concert Bands. While at North Texas, Jason studied tuba with Don Little and conducting with Dr. Nick Williams and Dennis Fisher. He was also very involved with local school bands in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, assisting with both marching and concert ensembles.

After graduating, Jason served on the staff of Capital Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps as the High Brass Visual Tech for their return to DCI in the 2009 season. Jason currently lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with his wife Candice. He currently works for a charter school in the south Dallas area where he teaches the high school marching band and concert ensembles, as well as beginner brass classes. Jason and his wife spend their free time serving with CollegeLife, the college ministry of Denton Bible Church.
